Abilities for AI is the core WordPress plugin that registers 350 abilities across 26 modules. It covers everything WordPress core provides — content management, block editing, user administration, media handling, taxonomy organization, theme configuration, plugin management, scheduled tasks, caching, site health diagnostics, and the Knowledge Layer for AI continuity.

Read abilities are free. Write and delete abilities require a Pro license. The plugin extends WordPress core’s Abilities API (shipped in WP 6.9) from 3 abilities to 350.

Installation

1. Download abilities-for-ai.zip from GitHub (Wicked-Evolutions org)
2. Upload via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in WordPress admin
3. Activate the plugin
4. Abilities register automatically on the wp_abilities_api_init hook
5. Install Abilities MCP Adapter to expose abilities as MCP tools
